The processing of your personal data is carried out by Save the Children International

Turkey Country Office as the ‘Data Controller’.

Save the Children International is a company limited by guarantee, registered in England

and Wales with company number 3732267 and a charity registered in England and Wales

with charity number 1076822.

Save the Children International is also registered in Turkey under the Turkish Data

Controllers Information System with number Data Controller number 90044968.

Why we are using your personal data

We use the personal data that you provide in the app for processing your complaint or

feedback as you use the application. You can share your complaints or feedback by calling

us or in written, audio, or visual formats. You can enter Name, Surname, and Phone number

details, though sharing your personal data is optional, if provided we will use it to get back to

you in order to inform you of the results of your complaint or feedback.

We do this on the basis of ‘Legitimate Interest’, that it is in the interest of SCI to manage and

respond to complaints and feedback. Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and EU

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

If you wish us to stop using your personal data for this purpose you can request this by

contacting SCI Turkey Hotline +90 531-103-8140, or reaching us through

sciturkeyhotline@savethechildren.org.

We don’t use your data for any dissemination activities.

We will keep your data for 3 years in reference with Turkish Personal Data Protection Law

numbered 6698.

Who we share your data with

Your data will be stored in a cloud server, while data will be collected and processed only in

Turkey and we have safeguards for all data protection related processes.

Your Rights

You have rights over your personal data. These rights include asking us to:

 correct anything that isn’t accurate

 stop using your personal data

 delete your personal data

 give you a copy of your personal data
